You're not wrong. Sadly cycling has such a tainted history any sniff of drugs and all get tarnished with the same brush.
And your posting history shows you have the needle that is stuck."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -

Please ignore the obvious troll. It's a few weeks to MSR, and if the spoiler thread gets hijacked then I'm going ballistic.

Not sure why that would be relevant. It's very hard to keep you guys focused on the topic at hand. Continued digression and weakening into a position of personal attacks. Be strong. Discuss the topic.0 -

That I did, but the BikeRadar hit squad hijacked the thread & it was not possible to read the serious posts. Just the usual censorship and silencing from Saddles and Rich - they tend to organizing the bullying on this forum.
This is the closest thread I could find to British Cycling to continue the conversation with regards to Howden and the on-going investagtion by UKAD. You see, simple.0 -

This thread has absolutely nothing to do with British Cycling, Sky, TUEs, Wiggins or any of that.
Create the thread you want, don't hijack somebody else's.
If the forum don't want to discuss those issues with you then there's a good reason.

True. I think there will be a restructuring of sorts, UKAD to be given more powers, perhaps more reporting back into the the government committes and UK Sport.0 -

I think what UKAD really need is more money, to be honest. They've no hope with the number of sports they have to cover as it stands.0 -

That is part of it, more executive power to investigate and subpoena evidence.0 -
This thread is off topic. Because of trolling of course.

Quite right re your comment about bullying.
Thank goodness that these abusive personal attacks designed to silence valid alternative views are ignored by you. I often see reference to the clinic and yet this place can be ultra closed minded in the opposite direction.0 -

Took a while, but his post finally reached it's intended recipient.
Again, you talk about closed minds.
Yet you repeatedly argue that the sport's history is proof that things today must also be so.
History cannot be changed, therefore, in your view, change cannot take place.
To me, the very definition of a closed mind.

UKAD need one thing and it isn't money. They need the incentive to catch the cheats. At the moment, if they caught a heap of elite riders it would be perceived that they were not doing their job correctly. So what they do is present that their education programs are working by not catching elites but they do target the odd sh1t kicker to show that it's mainly the lower categories that are doping.....
I know for a fact that they have been tipped them off about 4 elite level athletes that are dodgy and they have done nothing. That is they have been given times / dates methods etc and have done nothing in over 18 months.
Money alone won't help them - they need the desire to clean up the sport.0 -

Agreed, let's hand it over to Cookson's CADF, the same guy who oversaw suspect packages at British Cycling / Sky.0 -

Yes Saddles, open mind, it's the character of the three girls involved.0 -

The WADA Code requires more of them:The 2015 World Anti-Doping Code states that every anti-doping organisation must have the resources to obtain, assess and handle anti-doping intelligence and information. UKAD has the capability to deal with intelligence and actively conducts investigations into suspected doping violations.0 -
I went for a ride this morning. I could do with some PED and more training.
Also fewer pies might help0 -

Remind us again which 3 girls are involved in the jiffy bag / UKAD / CMS debacle?0 -

We, as cyclists require more of them. More money won't help, they need to be using their current resources properly.0 -
Wiggins out of the jump, hope its nothing to do with the current investigations.0

It's obvious isn't it? He's going to make a full confession to his nefarious deeds, serialized in the Daily Mail plus a prime time tear-laden, heart-pouring TV appearance hosted by Piers Morgan.0
