Dizziness/vertigo?

Hello, I've been exercising on the bike for 1 year, I do ~8h a week (180k's) and I am 65kg.
Recently I replaced my handlebars and helmet and I've been experiencing dizziness and vertigo although I never had similar issues in the past.

My shoulder width is 45cm and I switched from a 43cm width handlebar to 46cm (Fizik Cyrano R3) - center to center measurements because I was getting a bit of neck bone stiffness. I also changed the helmet from Giro Savant to Kask Mojito because I was getting some head pressure.

Both issues were "fixed" although now I experience the dizziness I mentioned, I have noticed that if I tilt my head down to the road and then back up while riding I get this feeling.

I don't feel it's caused by intensity as I haven't changed it (although I added a 2x15min max effort rides once per week) so I am mostly looking towards one of the upgrades causing this issue. I feel it's neurological related and would like some input by anyone that might have felt the same or is experienced in the field. Will also use my old helmet on the next ride to see if it could be related.

Get to the doctors. Get BP checked out and they may well run bloods.

I did do a blood test and everything is fine (white cells are a bit low other than that everything is normal as it was few months ago when I got tested again). Blood pressure is a bit on the low side 11/9 (excersise didn't seem to affect it).

Did a bit of a research on vertigo and it could be related to heart/eyes/nerves/dehydration etc.

    Suggest not doing this then
I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles

Well sometimes it happens when moving the head on the side to look backwards as well, thing is it didn't use to happen.

Try searching for 'benign paroxysmal positional vertigo' - quite possibly that...

+1. Try the Elpey manoeuvre, that'll make your head spin.

Go back to your doctor, various things can cause it from stress, a virus etc.

I did the Elpey manoeuvre etc and didn't notice any dizziness or anything unusual. Also I don't have an ear pain so don't think it's benign paroxysmal positional vertigo.

What I noticed is that it happens mostly when hitting rough roads or when there are slight elevation changes on the road and there is change in gravitation force? ( I don't mean hill climbs, but when the road slightly changes from straight to upward).

That's why I said it could be neurological related. After changing to the new handlebars the neck bone pressure was eliminated so maybe it has to do with that and the road vibrations?

I will keep riding with it to see if the body needs to get used to it and then probably change back to the old handlebars to see if the same thing happens.
