Quiet direct drive turbo?

I'm looking to setup a turbo in my loft with my old bike on it and have been looking at a direct drive turbo.

There's quite a few options out there, i was wondering if anyone had any feedback on their experience of which ones are quietest?

The loft space is above my living room / kitchen so being quiet is a bonus, the loft floor is boarded and carpeted which also helps (and has velux windows for necessary ventilation)

Thanks!

I have a Tacx Neo which is very quiet. I now have it in the a spare bedroom and can use while others in the house are still sleeping. It is compatible with Zwift etc and can even simulate gradients. I use it a lot with Trainerroad with Sufferfest videos synced and it control the power, meaning you can't slack at all.

Tacx Neo is what you want. Pretty much silent.

Keep in mind that your drive train still makes a noise. And you'll need fans which also make a noise.

Where the Neo wins in my opinion is the lack of vibration which IME is what disturbs those in other rooms.

Especially true in the loft - my loft always seems to be about 10 degrees hotter than the rest of the house, I would hate to do any exercise in there...

Thanks for the input - vibration is my main concern, the loft is boarded and carpeted which helps. I was looking at the Neo and wondered if it was as good as people make out.

Fortunately my loft isn't like most, it has 2 velux windows in so with some strategic fan placement i can get some airflow going quite nicely.
