Short stage, but interesting finish... Last time they arrived in Andalo in 1973 Merckx won... hope today's winner is of comparable calibre... 8)

    Possibly... it could be a stage for Valverde... it could be a stage for Nibali, or it could be a stage for some dodgy russian to win...

    Only Pirazzi has Merckx's flare though, so I hope this is his day!

    Scaloppine alla Milanese, like linguine and not linguini... yes, but you will never find an italian reasturant serving pasta as a side dish... that said in Bressanone... ehm... Brixen anything is possible

    The thing with italian waiters/restaurateurs is when they spot you are a foreigner*, then they look at you from a higher moral ground and either they tease you and refuse to serve you the crap you ask for or they just give you anything, pretending they never cooked it and looking at other customers with an air of resignation

    "sono Americani, non capiscono un cazzo!" (they are Americans, they understand fucxall!)

    *foreigners are German, Japanese or Americans
