Sweetspot- how long how hard?

I am trying to ride at sweetspot.
Read about it but cant establish how hard to ride.
Should I ride as hard for one hour as I would for three hours?
I have worked out my seetspot zone and usually aim to ride as hard as I can within this zone.
Is this a bad idea?

if you know your sweetspot zone then why are you having trouble?
why do you want to ride at sweetspot anyway? how long is enough for any zone?

Sweetspot is ~90% of your Function Threshold Power / ~95% of your Functional Threshold Heart Rate. Typical interval durations are 15 - 45 minutes. I would recommend starting with 2 x 15 minutes and then increase the number of repetitions week-on-week, before resetting at a longer duration and repeating. For example:
Week 1: 2 x 15 mins
Week 2: 3 x 15 mins
Week 3: 4 x 15 mins
Week 4: 2 x 30 mins
Week 5: 3 x 30 mins
Week 6: 1 x 40 mins0 -
Not sure what you mean by you trying to ride as hard as possible in your sweetspot zone. You are either in it or not. Go too hard and you will be up at threshold.0
