Pinnos Project Profit.

Started the demolition work. Behind the now absent studded walls in the utility room is a horror show but, and it is a good 'but' it is predominantly dry.

I'm taking bets on the time scale.

So you've disposed of some "stuff" employed a yokel from the east from an internet forum and have now demolished what appears to be some plasterboard.

This is more smoke and mirror than the PX smoke and mirror thread.

It doesn't take him long if you measure it in ice ages.

If I string this one out like MF, i'll be broke. Though I must say, 1500mg of Amoxicillin a day is slowing me down a little.

Never mind the diarrhoea and narcolepsy.

Give him some credit. He'll get good odds at Ladbrokes for that date.

True, I don't. Haven't seen stock of Eye Bleach in the shops here, although it is certainly required.

Of course. One will be a pasty-faced weed who makes Gollum look butch, one will be a bronzed tower of Awesomeness that will make Adonis jealous, and the other will be poking his tattooed tongue out making weird noises.

^ Nope. An Englishman says, 'Sex, Fish and Chips', an Australian says 'Six fish and Chips' and a New Zealander says 'Sucks, fush and Chups'.

Not too shabby on the outside. New windows already fitted...

This however, is where the fun starts:

Utility room stripped out and revealing the horrors underneath. I din't need to be Clouseau to find the source of damp - spaces and soil between the floor and the wall!!

Plenty of ventilation when sitting on the downstairs Khazi now i've taken the toilet walls out:

Livingroom and fireplace to be stripped out, they aren't fake beams:

Now here are the 'period' bits.

    70's Olive green bathroom:

    50's Steel sink unit:

    99bd3c0667527baefba82d6d4024bc74.jpg

    The list:

New Kitchen, bathroom (to be tiled throughout), utility room, living room fireplace with a woodburner. Monoblocked driveway (Tegula Block).

    drivesett-tegula-original-block-paving-traditional.jpg

Everything stripped back and Celotex, plasterboard and new plaster in every room. Plus quite a bit of work eliminating as many thermal bridges as possible.

    ^ What a good idea.

2 Doors up from me lives a builder. Right Yorkshire type 'im. "I used t' ride fixed when I were a lad...".
He has a storage unit in Leeds full of stuff, sink units, baths, Belfast sinks (not that I like the bloody things but they are trendy). I have done him various favours whilst he is away in Yorkshire most weeks and comes back periodically to see his periodical woman. So I will be heading down there to have a look and grab some quality stuff cheap.
