    Great effort by Atapuma, thought they were closer to the finish and he might get there. Preidler mugged on the line by Chaves. Nibali loses about 35"

    I thought they were about 100m from the line when Preidler and Atapuma started sprinting. Not sure why they went so early. Nibali spent a lot of time riding solo which might not help him tomorrow.

    That must have taken a lot out of Nibali. Not good before a time trial.

    Not sure what Preidler attempted there. The distance to the finish was clearly signposted.

    Not really, just that he thought Valverde was struggling so attacked but ran out of strength. It was windy and hard on his own and he isn't sure how tomorrow will go. He did say something about Kruiswijk putting him in the gutter which I didn't understand.
