Garmin Heart Rate Zones - Syncing

So anyway, I have a Garmin 500 and recently bought a HR monitor to go with it, it all works fine and have worked out my resting and max rates.
I have entered these details into Garmin connect and it has worked out my zones. However I can’t seem to sync this information with my unit, which still shows the default figures.
Strangely, when I change my age or weight on connect, it will quite happily send this updated information to the unit, just not the heart rate zones.
I’ve tried syncing on Firefox and Explorer, but neither will work. Any ideas?

When you are on GC and are amending your details make sure the device is plugged in then you should find an option "send to device", this will update your Garmin with what you have entered. The same applies if you update your FTP if using a power meter.Trainer Road Blog: https://hitthesweetspot.home.blog/

You can edit them on the device if you go into setting then training zones."A cyclist has nothing to lose but his chain"

Thanks for the replies both
I'd just typed out a long reply, outlining my frustration, and detailing each step I went through, but on the last go it has finally worked!
I cleared the history and cache from firefox and this seems to have resolved it. - this was mentioned on the help page on connect. Ah well, only took four hours of swearing.0
