Specialised LoDown - so good I've just ordered my second pair. Thin, lightweight, grippy, comfortable.

I've just ordered myself a pair of the Troy Lee's in yellow

It's tennis ball green, and it makes me dry heave.

The red Fox Racing look a safe pair. The 100% red has a white thumb, which is concerning. I don't like the Troy Lees... it's either black, pink or vomit-enducing green... due to the others being white palms. The Endura Full Monty have gray palms. How about gray? Is it going to stain the same as white?

My Pocs have grey palms, do get mucky but end of the day if it annoys you enough wash them.

I've also got some Altura Pro Gel 2014 waterproof gloves for wet weather.
    Specialised LoDown

Don't like the look of the top of the hand.

Which ones? I like the look of the Index Air.
    661 Comp or Dakine Cypress.

Those 661s are cheap! And the gloves you mention are Dakine Sentinels.

The 661 gloves are cheap for a reason. Worst quality gloves I have ever had. They just fell apart.

I'm currently looking at Fox Rangers now really comfortable gloves when I tried some on. Thinking of a set of seal skins come the winter, I'd like a set of waterproof gloves, but something that still offers a bit of feel rather than the great big muff things that you usually see. Any suggestions?

I have some Lizard Skins Monitor 3 gloves and they are very nice. I like the slip on style and they are still tight when on. Tried other slip on one's and couldn't even get them over my hand. Would recommend the Monitors.

Err, when did this get retitled to Waterproof gloves rather than just gloves? If waterproof ones you're after, ignore my post. Monitors are good but not waterproof

I changed it because you got confused and didn't read my last post.

There was a 2 page thread about thin gloves. That's what you originally asked about.
Over a year later you change the title because you got wet.

Why didn't you just start a new thread to avoid confusion?

Because I am anal about starting new threads: circumstances have changed, and there might be something relevant on the thread. I've done it on other threads because of this as well.

You have changed the topic so a new thread would be better.

If someone does a search for 'waterproof gloves' they will find your thread and at first glance think it has nothing to do with waterproof gloves. They are not going to read through 2 pages of posts in the hope it might change.

I changed it because someone skipped reading the latest post.

In hindsight, I guess that was not wise... I'll change it back.

Edit: changed original post to make sense.
