    Blakey and I agree!

Though, to be fair, certain coffees are better for a stove top and certain coffees are better for a cafetiere. I add milk and whisk to my espresso and Lavazza Rossa is my preferred choice unless I can get Lavazza's Qualita D'Oro if it's on offer as it is pricey. Another Lavazza that's good is Crema e Gusto.
For cafetiere's and pure unadulterated coffee, freshly ground beans in the bottom of a big mug and pour in hot but not boiling water, allow the granules to settle and it's quite a fantastic flavour.

Fyne Ales does look very picturesque, but it's a bit far for a brewery tour. Park Brewery is just round the corner, but the tour would only take about 30 seconds. It is on my way to my favourite local though.

That stuff looks good, not sure I have had any of theirs. Fyne is about 2 and a half hours from me but I work around there at least once a week so they recognise me in there now. I'd also recommend the George pub in Inveraray...

http://www.joulesbrewery.co.uk Is my local, in fact doing a tour on Thursday for our last night here, when I say doing the tour I won't actually go on the tour bit, I will just stay in the bar with the free ale :)

Long work day, followed by a work meal and no ale!

Rather stick with one coffee give consideration to http://www.hasbean.co.uk

I get a 250gram bag of freshly roasted beans delivered every week. Each week you get a different bag and if your interested you get the story of the farm and the family which grew them. In three years I've had one bag which i wasn't fond of but the quality and diversity is superb.

The downside is I'm really fussy when it comes to coffee on rides, so much so I choose the coffee rather than the cake....

Oh and I drank far too much so I now limit myself to two cups a day and the bag lasts a week.

^ Like, except for when I go out cycling, I (try to) restrict my coffee intake to 1 per day. Prior to a bike ride, an espresso is mandatory. I have found that since I cut down on caffeine (including tea), I sleep much better.
That Has Bean would be far too much temptation. A bit like being in parts of Plymouth with a tenner in yer pocket.
