    Great shots.
Am I imagining it, or is Bobridge being a bit more "climb-ey" than previous seasons (including being leaner?)? It feels as though he still hasn't quite found himself on the road yet - and it'd be a shame if he slipped into "solid team rider in GTs and occasional podium in one dayers" role, without ever winning big.

With the World's less than a month away, he'd better not be going too lean...

Rohan Dennis has never forgiven him for 2012. Bobridge was at the heart of poor discipline in the Aussie TP squad in the run up to London

I keep forgetting that Bobridge and Dennis are still in the TP squad.

Those 2 - plus Hepburn... "eek!" is what I'd be saying in the GB camp.

PS. and no money from Herald Sun Tour

Why is that an incentive? Surely the reverse?

no money given to him to come to Herald Sun Tour from the direction of the race

Herald Sun is a newspaper owned by the Murdoch's or something like that - as is Sky so obviously they are inclined to send their star man out for that, while still having a decent shot at the TDU with henao

Dennis isnt riding track TP anymore. Cos of what happened in 2012. Concentrating on the road now.

Oz team still bloody strong. GB clocked the fastest time of any nation since London in Derby in Aug, but Oz very close behind. Its going to be a humdinger in Rio - when hopefully Clancy will be back up to speed - and should be intriguing at the Worlds next month.

    Err track "racing"?

    *family fortunes klaxon*
  • If anyone is at a loose end, or stuck hiding from yet another Northern European storm, there are extended highlights (45 minutes each) available of the first 3 stages.
As yet, there doesn't appear to be a similar package for stage 4.

the last 15 km, but for me, but the action started with 40 kms to go. Live coverage of last stage on tv for the first time in several years. The Herald Sun has offered the link on their website without georestriction. So maybe they won't do an highlights :

So, is Lil Pete a hothead then?
Just asking, as it's not something I'd heard before now. Previous?
Warning No formatter is installed for the format

Not a hot-head, but a bit feisty. Manxie innit

Yellow Peril can back this up (tho possibly what goes on on the Rock, stays on the Rock :))
