    You have to find your own way in life/gloves... but at 5.99 Sports Direct ... roomy ski type normal fingered gloves did it for me at -4 for over an hour last night going home... for my thinking it is having enough room in the glove to have an air pocket over the hand/fingers combined with a windproof outer works. Tight gloves leave no space for any warm air to be created which acts like a blanket.
    My hands were colder this morning at -1 but using gloves similar but a tighter fit.. even coupled with a latex glove on the outside to act as a windstop.. the latex outer as it is raining this afternoon.
