Here's my latest video, don't worry it's MTB at last. 110km London (well Epsom) to Brighton off road.
Over the North Downs, along the Downs link and then climb over the South Downs before dropping into Brighton. Beers followed by train home.

back to the road bike again and here's a tongue in cheek vid of a recent road trip to Belgium. 150 miles from London to Brugge in one day followed by a ride to Brussels the next day to get the Eurostar home. A great trip.

Had a recent long cycling weekend on the East coast of Italy (Roseta Degli Abruzzi) and managed to get out for three days riding and covered 260km. The wife was able to laze around on the beach too so she was happy.
Here's the obligatory narcissistic vanity video:

Cheers Mitch, glad you liked it. It was a Shimano 105 level alu frame and was 50 EUR for 3 days which I thought was fair.
They also hire out carbon frames for 60 EUR which i would have gone for but they didn't have my size.
I usually like to travel with my own bike and have taken road and MTB's abroad many times, both via plane and on the back of my car but this was a short trip that meant we were travelling light with hand luggage only.
Taking the bike too would have made everything much more complex in terms of travel i.e. waiting around for it to be taken off the plane etc. instead of walking straight through with our hand luggage that it just didn't seem worth it.
Airline charges to take the bike there and back would have been around the same level.FCN = 40
