P2M calibration query

I know manual calibration technically isn't needed, but whenever I do I get a number of -520. My Stages always gives me around 870, I know they're completely different units but is that in normal range for a P2M??

That number should vary with temperature so something isn't right. Maybe its the head unit you're using.More problems but still living....0

Same one.0 -
Maybe there's a specific issue with that head unit and P2M power meters. Might be worth emailing P2M and asking what they think.More problems but still living....0

Completely normal. The factory calibration will be on the back of or inside your P2M owner's manual. All 4 of my P2M's have been in that neighbourhood whereas my track Stages sits at 903/4.English Cycles V3 | Cervelo P5 | Cervelo T4 | Trek Domane Koppenberg0

Cheers. I threw that away but it's put my mind at ease at least.0 -
But if you always get the same number (-520) then that's not right. Mine sits around -900, but varies by several units either way depending on temperature.More problems but still living....0

It was -520 and -519 earlier, was around the same the other day as well. The conditions have been relatively the same, ie in the garage on the turbo. I expect it would be different if I were to take it outside. It was more the number itself that was alarming me.0 -
In that case I agree, it sounds normal. I took your opening post literally.More problems but still living....0

Yeah, I didn't really explain it properly. Call it panic that I had a faulty power meter0
