Get a carbon frame any carbon frame and you will not regret it. Run 25c tyres at around 90psi for comfortable and fast ride.
Did you read my last post? :P
I did and it makes no sense.
Why on earth would you think a carbon frame is likely to crack?
You can get fantastic carbon frames for far less than the Trek frame (in the UK at least)
That's what I hear. How's the Planet X Pro Carbon frameset then?0 -

Old, but fine for what you pay.0 -
I am 1.78cm and their chart says I need the Medium size. The seat tube on my Scott is 56cm and on the Medium PX it's 48cm although it says: Seat Tube Length Centre to top(mm).
Is the Medium size correct for me?0 -
You want to compare virtual top tube length and stack height, rather than seat tube length.
The PX is 547 for M and 570 for L.
The Scott is 560 for the L (which I have now).0 -
What length stem are you currently using and how do the stack heights compare between the bikes?
Using 100mm and the current stack is 570 on my Scott (although I don't think I measured it correctly, I measured from top of head tube to bottom of the fork.
Anyway, I ordered the large PX (which has 565 stack).0 -
