How about the Tour of Abu Dhabi? Dull, unending flat in the desert, 'raced' at a soporific pace due to taking place inside a microwave oven and one 'mountain' stage with no attacks.
Same with Flèche Wallonne - you know what you're going to get.
Worst races I'd say are ones that should be better than they are.Twitter: @RichN950 -
We can only rate the races we've seen, and for me that means races on ITV4, so my opinion is very limited I grant you.0

I sense your enjoyment is closely linked to sky?
Not especially - it's more the case that two of the headline contenders who I enjoy watching found themselves out of the running earlyish in the proceedings through little fault of their own and in the case of the Giro giving a rider who I particularly dislike a much easier time of it.0 -
the ardennes classics were so rubbish i decided not to watch any of them."Unfortunately these days a lot of people don’t understand the real quality of a bike" Ernesto Colnago0

I built a chest of drawers whilst Amstel was on and I regret nothing."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Like this?
Or like this?
It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.0 -
The latter. Except with more swearing."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

That'll be it then. Your negative experience with the flat-pack furniture coloured your view of the race. It was brilliant for the rest of usIt's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.0 -
