It's stuff like this that is the difference. Here they are in early December sitting down for a powerpoint presentation on today's training ride. On the one hand it seems completely over the top and ridiculous on the other hand this is how this team gets results.
Compare this approach with the likes of Europcar who weren't even using power for training.....Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.0 -

I actually have little doubt that Sky put their riders through the mill right from the start of coming back from the off-season. The anecdotes from riders (some still with the team, some having left) at their shock at the training load and intensity there after moving to the team from other teams, underlines that.
Unless of course you have the mindset that all pros are congenital liars, whereby you dismiss this as yet another lie to pull the wool over 'our' eyes0 -
