Servicing Look S-Track pedal bearings

I have a pair of Look S-Track race pedals in which the bearings have started to creak, and a quick look around on the Internet hasn't turned up any information on servicing the pedals. For example, does the hexagonal plastic nut where the axle exits the pedal unscrew - if so, does the nut on both pedals have a RH thread or does one have a LH thread?

If their website doesn't give you the info in a tech doc, ditch them and get some Shimano SPDs

Well, it was actually pretty simple. The axle is removed from the pedal body in the same way as on SPD pedals, but doesn't use the same tool. I used a 19mm ring spanner, which was a pretty exact fit on the plastic collars that hold the axle in the pedal body. The collar has a RH thread on the LH pedal and an LH thread on the RH pedal.
