Suunto movestick mini NIGHTMARE !!!

Hi I am pulling my hair out here, I purchased the above dongle to connect my macbook air to turbo training website but i cant get it to work despite it being labeled as plug and play.

When I plug it in nothing happens, when i download wattsys, all i get is the following message "unable to communicated with ant+ dongle"

I dont even know if i have got the right software installed as this page does not list the one for the movestick mini and also ive downloaded and tried them all but cant get any to work.

I am pulling my hair out and all I want is for this wattssys to be able to recognise this dongle so I can start training with it paired to my garmin sensors.

I had the same problem until I turned off Garmin Connect which was running in the background on my Macbook

cmnd and the tab key dont show its open.

Not sure how else to check

You have to turn off or remove the Garmin ant+ thingy that will probably have self installed.

got it, sneaky little garmin + bastard running in the background and not showing up on the task manager ! got it now though

On a MacBook, you can see the Garmin Connect icon running in the back ground as it shows up as a little black triangle in the top right hand corner of the screen. Easy to close from there. Re-open using the usual Garmin Connect icon.
