I'm going to admit I dislike saddle bags, prefer pockets or skip it. There may not have been a problem, but a lot of people here (no matter what they use) find there is, or there is at least a better method.
My vain issue with the ziplock bags is that none of the ones I have have too much excess and so fill my pockets needlessly, but as stated it does the job. The Rapha case does the job in a good looking way.

rapha do a lot of bollocks, but that essentials case is far bigger bollocks than anything else i've come across from them. a £2 neopreme phone sock will protect it from minor impact and a clear plastic bag will keep your phone and whatever else dry. airport security clear bags can be particularly good."Unfortunately these days a lot of people don’t understand the real quality of a bike" Ernesto Colnago0
