I do reuse my bags but if I find myself at a shop without them, for whatever reason, I'm not going to worry about 10p.0

Done my first bit of food shopping since the charge came in. Went to the self service till and selected using my own bags but used one of theirs, when the question of how many bags have I used I entered zero. There are ways round it.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

I don't want to end up in a bloody shoot out "You'll never take me alive!" over a plastic bag.Pinno, מלך אידיוט וחרא מכונאי0 -

Tesco express in Wycombe must have cottoned on to people not paying for bags on the self service checkout and put them all behind the till. You had to buy a bag at a manned checkout before using the self service. It was actually pretty good for a couple of items because no one was using them.0

What would be more appropriate is to ensure that the bags were 100% biodegradable.
But this is as much about money.
Someone posted a nice picture on FB yesterday, noting that the cupboard next to his kitchen sink was now worth hundreds of pounds.0 -

It's amazing really. In Wales (and the other nations) people are honest and get on with it. Perhaps the English are more dishonest and/or have a greater sense of entitlement? (inserts winkey smiley)My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)
