In about 45 minutes we'll have made it to the middle of the working week, unless you're a doctor signing a new contract then you're up shit creek.
Anyhoos we've got a small child sleeping at ours tonight so it'll be fun and games up to about 8.30 then an early night.
And Stoptober looms, is anyone else doing something equally stupid?

I'm surprised some of you lot even know what stoptober is
The old jalopy got towed away this morning and I got a nice little bank account bonus on top of pay day. Now on train into town to stop minions misbehaving. And also a good excuse for a pedal home tonight as I left the bike at the office the other day."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." Afternoon all
pretty busy at work at the moment, this isn't what I signed up to! but past half way now :-)
as for stoptober, as long as people don't ask me to give them any money for it then great!www.conjunctivitis.com - a site for sore eyes0 -

Quite busy for a Wednesday at the end of the month, not so happy about that. Should add to the bonus pot of which I should have the lion's share so happier about that. At the risk of sounding ungrateful, I could do with it being a much bigger pot after this month. Pub later which I am very happy about. Woohoo!!!0 -

Exactly, they are saving a fortune by not drinking
Today has been working from home, with the highlight of the day a delivery of 30 co2 cartridges and then ordering some new tyres for the masters as I've worn the original ones down completely & I want to use it this w.end for the Autumn Epic0 -

last time I ordered some, they got the order wrong and I ended up with 30 nitrous oxide cartrdges, needless to say, I had the last laughwww.conjunctivitis.com - a site for sore eyes0 -
Can you get carbon tyres?
I've got to go on a few customer visits, possibly up north. How can I wangle a supplier visit considering I only do trade sales?0 -
Humph, meh, bollox.
Talking about Colnago's and CO2 cartridges, funnily enough...
Stunning day here. Took the crucatchers off the C40. Came off the thing. Now get this: I have 3 deep scratches form the chainset teeth on the outside of my left ankle!!? Apart from that, I was fine. Then the bloody compooter sensor shifted and I had to get off and re-adjust it. Then it stopped working. I guess it was from the impact of the off. Back wheel jammed sideways in the chainstay when I went over a bump. I don't know why I say 'bump' when there doesn't seem to be any smooth bits on the roads here.
I was philosophical as I hadn't done much damage to me and none to the bike and you need an off to assure you that offs can be relatively benign. I carried on until, descending at 40+mph, chasing a cement mixer, I had a blow out when I hit a section of missing tarmac. Not sure I have ever known a back tyre to deflate as quickly as that before. Armed with my new CO2 dispenser gadget (ditched the mini pump) and f*ck me did it inflate the tyre and didn't I burn my left forefinger on the frozen apparatus in the process.
Sh1t happens.

We have just bought another chain to give us 160 sites, each one of those is a potential customer? If that doesn't work with your boss, go for the wallet - it saves the cost of a hotel one night0 -

It is and the weather at the moment is purely stunning. Set fair for a while and I am off most of next week so I can clock up some miles.

Trojan?
Anyway one of those days at work where it is falling apart for certain people and I get to fix it. I kinda like it, miss the stress of my old job but today makes up for it.
Finished it off with a quick crud. Stacked it mind but all part of the fun. Often I miss London/Paris city living but things like this make the countryside/suburbia a win

Nice - where's that?0 -
Place called Thurstaston Hill (Caldy on google maps).
Quite handy I've got an old railyway line for a path, up a hill onto that hill, then the way home goes through some woods and onto another smaller hill/common.
Otherside of me is the Dee/Wales0 -

time delay, or perhaps, just maybe I have some friends. Friend takes the odd pic to promote cardio as fun for his PT business. Not sure PT is a sensible game to start but whatever keeps you happy0 -
Nice pic.
32mm clinchers. Look at Vittoria Randonneur Pro, 120tpi and roll well.0 -
