So i've had an ITB niggle for a while now and got a fancy retul bike fit which has put me in a lovely new position (saddle was too high so I was pulling myself over on the saddle to protect my stronger leg and sacrificing my left leg and ITB in the process) but the niggle persists so I went to the physio...
I'm already doing various leg and core strength exercises so they said to keep doing that, but to find ways to transfer that strength to cycling.. so I need to either do it on the bike, or do exercises in a way that replicates being on the bike?
The physio said one leg squats are good because your upper body is angled forwards (like on a bike..) but didn't have many suggestions apart from that. I suggested one leg drills on the turbo trainer which will hopefully help... any other suggestions?
