SKY seemed to do it for him - they should of had him on the front sooner and softened him up - he was on his own - SKY were just burning riders off??0 -

I know they can't chuck that many off the race but they should do something - maybe follow the Roman example and DQ every tenth rider in that group because there were a lot of people by the roadside waiting about to see the bulk of the riders and for them to cruise through 45 minutes down isn't on. OK so I know they had nothing to race for but that's why they should chuck some of them out - maybe say any team with 2 riders or more that miss the cut lose one of them .[Castle Donington Ladies FC - going up in '22]0 -

Have to say, Its a great race again this year. Good stages, beautifull scenery and the crowds look better than the Vuelta. It seems the guy in front of Cav clipped the parked car and took him out as well, thats why they were arguing.0

^Not sure why, but it's not working for me this time. After watching vuelta highlights I have had enough for the day and fast forward through the whole stage. Particularly surprising since for the first time I know quite a few parts of almost every route, so I'm usually trying to spot familiar landmarks.
Finding Huge Porter more irritating than ever, and the other presenters too. Christian House is ok.0 -

That's two stages where the grupetto has just strolled around like a club run. The race will get a bad rep at this rate and it can't be good for race or team sponsors let alone spectators. Riders getting dropped at the start of tough TdF stages don't lose that much time very often and doing so on roads with rolling closures should lead to them being pulled out.0

Agree. I went to Beeley Moor yesterday, great atmosphere, good crowds, then rode to Nottingham for the finish. I just missed the lead group but was there for 30 mins before the peloton rolled in. A real anticlimax.0 -
