Why are some of the SKY riders kitted out in white?
Only Kennaugh was in white as he's wearing the national champs jersey. The other white Rapha kit you could see was a Tom Simpson memorial kit worn by Team Wiggins.0 -

The only Team Sky rider wearing white is Kennaugh as the British champ
Team Wiggins are also sponsored by Sky - they were wearing a special white jersey just for today as a nod to Tom Simpson's Worlds win 50 years ago yday0 -
Kennaugh was wearing the new British one made by Rapha which was black like the sky kit with the red blue bands0

I'll admit to having slagged the whole Rapha thing in the past but I really like the Simpson kit and the idea of a tribute to him so I apologise profusely.0

Honestly it's good kit, especially if you're not short.
You'll have to live with a) the price and b) the fact that every other middle aged tosser wears it, but objectively it looks good and functions very well.0 -

It does look good and I'll further apologise because I appreciate their vision of cycling which plays on coupling the best of modern tech with the romance and history of the sport has opened it up to so many more people. Chapeau to them.
It's on the Christmas list...0 -

Sold out in a day. They're not sure when it will restock yet.Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.0 -
I rode the last 20k or so a few weeks ago, and today had my dream of becoming a Pro well and truly crushed, as they absolutely monstered the roads I grovelled over.
Although they did pootle up the hill through Mynyyd Isa the same as I do...0 -

That was a rain jacket. He's used that all year. Once he took it off it was the normal white jersey underneath.0 -
In the last few km it looked like Wiggo was doing a great job for his team and moving them up into a good position along side the big boys - 1 min later Wiggo was still there but his team had evaporated behind him. Not sure what went on in between. You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.0 -

I suspect it was safer for Wiggins to look after Doull on his tod in the final run in and give him the lead out, rather than have Tennant and co involved, up against the Quickstep, Lotto and Sky crews
And it worked out well enough0 -
Damn, forgot to set the highlights to record... I have 3 Vuelta stages to catch up on this evening too!
Also think I forgot to make a GC PTP pick for this, woops.0 -
I thought it was pretty dull until the last 3 or 4 k's.
Hopefully today will be better.0 -
