They're leaving this late, ~45s at 6k
Could end up being a win for the break at this rate... although dropping faster now.0 -
Surely Dumoulin is using his bulk on the downhill to reach escape velocity?
Exactly, how can 30kg Chavez keep up with 115kg Dumoulin on downhill? I call shenanigans! SHENANIGANS!!"Unfortunately these days a lot of people don’t understand the real quality of a bike" Ernesto Colnago0 -
30s at 4k, dropping more steadily now. Break still working well together... and now they're attacking each other literally as I typed that.
2k, 20s...
Going to be caught inside the final km0 -
1.5km with 20 sec0

Yep its awsome, Tyler Hamilton did a TDF stage into Bayon with a broken shoulder once.
What an odd insinuation you're making by mentioning Hamilton. So Froome managed to ride with a broken foot because he's a doper? As the poster above said, you're weird.
You've made that linkage. tyler hamilton did that, and it happens that he was a doper. it also happens he had a broken bone (or more). the linkage is broken bones surely, whether they took drugs or whatever in my view is irrelevant....
Given the poster's general history and tone of post, I think it's reasonable to believe that the choice of a known doper was not accidental. But whatevsGiant Trance X 2010

Very impressive. Up there with Robbie McEwen's win in Canterbury in the 2007 Tour.0 -
Just caught the highlights, Giant-Alpecin are all over the place with their leadout. It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.0

Ah yes that was brilliant! Perhaps there is scope for a new thread of "best comeback during a stage" two great contenders here0 -

Tony Martin - Stage 4 of the Tour into Cambrai. Punctured - yet got back and time-trialled off the front to win the stage and finally take the yellow jersey0 -

Meanwhile Danny van Poppel being a chip off the old block (his father) Jean-Paul van Poppel who I clearly remember in the 1987 TDF winning the Green Jersey with that fantastic lead out train "Superconfex".
Did you notice Danny at the back with the barriers on his right, then switch behind Degenkolb and saw no way through, so then came right over to the left for the clear road to unleash his winning sprint.

It was just a comparison with another contender in a grand tour that also rode with broken bones. Nothing more.
That rider, like the vast majority in the last twenty years was a doper but any doping inference in my post was entirely unintended. Perhaps you should look at yourself before accusing others of being weird.0 -

On a teammate's bike that was too small for him, no less.0 -
Well done shouty Twitter people.
Can't see a f@cking thing on the moto cams because they're now riding half a mile ahead of the riders.
Echo chamber of knee jerk morons.
One day we will look back at this time and wonder why internet people were ever listened to.0 -
