As the title suggests, name and describe the last film you saw (cinema, film or TV)
I'll start.....
The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
Proper popcorn movie, won't win any Oscars but enjoyable bit of fluff.

Southpaw on Laptop. The quality of the acting slightly wasted on a slim and predictable plot, Jake Gyllenhaal gives his all and Forest Whitaker is excellent as always. The fight scenes aren't as unrealistic as Rocky but still given the Hollywood treatment.
All things considered, worth a watch. 3/5 6.9 SeanMovieDataBasePinno, מלך אידיוט וחרא מכונאי0 -
The newest Mission Impossible (4 or 5?) at the cinema. Not as good as the first one.
Next up, Legend. The Mrs has a thing about the Krays.Cannondale Trail 6 - crap brakes!

The Borderlands, last night on TV
Quire atmospheric, definitely creepy towards the end with a denouement that was, well, a bit unexpected. A tad HP Lovecraft...."Get a bicycle. You won't regret it if you live"

Chef, watched it on netflicks or something with the family, hadn't heard of it before but it was really very good.[Castle Donington Ladies FC - going up in '22]1

Dead cool and quite thought provoking. Also in some ways similar to this place"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -

Still one of the best film soundtracks. Couldn't afford an orchestra so stripped it back to drum and bass.
The Heavy drum track version released at the time is still one of the most laid back pieces of music i've heard and the more recent Bombay remix is even better.0 -

Watched it out of interest. Not really my scene … at all … but it's a well crafted movie.tick - tick - tick0 -
I think the last time I saw a film was in January and it was La Linea del Fuoco. An Italian WW2 flick set in North Africa while the demoralised, under-equipped troops are waiting to put up token resistance to an inevitable British attack. Definitely worth watching.
Once I get my exams out of the way in October, I've got Kontroll, Daywatch and Nightwatch gathering dust on the DVD rack.0 -
