La Vuelta '15 #6 Córdoba / Sierra de Cazorla **spoilers**
Another mini-mountain top finish. A couple of cat 3s to spice things up - although not much. And yet another really nasty ramp to finish on.
I make that about 200m in the last 3km - so again looks good for the punchier uphill sprinters; but is it long enough for the likes of Valverde to make a break and try to steal another few seconds from other overall contenders

The bookies have Sagan down as 25-1 on this one, sounds like it might be too much for a proper sprint. Will be interested to see if anyone can attack on the early slopes and hold them off0

Took 73 km for the break to form... Gautier, Terpstra, Durasek, Veltits, Cummings...0

Another stage with Valverde written all over it.
You'd almost think the organisers had done it on purpose. It's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.0 -

To be fair, his name is written all over a lot of different types of stages.0 -

It's like if the Tour of Britain were composed entirely of flat ITTs.
With the Tour latterly doing the same thing, and the Giro as well, it's a Golden Age of Puncheuring. I much prefer the cut and thrust and spectacle of a fast flat sprint to yet another grindfest up yet another little hill but it seems to be what the organisers want. Hey ho.0 -
Apparently Sagan's not going for the win...0

What's the story? I've got a fantasy team to consider here, hasn't he heard?0 -

Can't be arsed. Or at least, he's going to play his chances but Tinkoff aren't going to work at the front...0 -
Just saw disc brakes on a GT for the first time - I hadn't realised that any of the teams had chosen to use Vuelta to test.

Nobody seems interested in chasing Cummings as yet, with only 5 kms to go."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0

Great effort by Cummings. You know you've gone deep when you almost come to a stand still.0
