Someone tell FF I'll post a pic of my socks, shoes and washing powder tomorrow.Life is unfair, kill yourself or get over it.0

I don't tend to take photos of myself. Being that I'm not a 14 year old girl.Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.0

I'm not sure Holm is the best person to give advice on style - he couldnt even wear arm warmers properly!
Nowadays he looks like try hard hard aging hipster who lost the keys to his u-boat.

What with g weed and t:ight there are a lot of blocked posts on the previous page.
Have they posted any photos of themselves? If so, someone quote please.
Here y'go. Rocking the red/black look, with the same colour bike too. Probably spoilt by hairy legs mind you.

What part of calm down didn't you understand?
If you don't like someone, ignore them.
Your signature is hardly helping you with that specific comment either.0 -
Though curious to know what the solution is for rain rides. I basically have a black pair for sh!t weather.
My solution is not to ride. But then I don't have the same sort of flahute blood running through me as you do.
I have a pair of white Bonts that are made of some sort of wipe clean stuff. I don't think I even own shoe covers as my comically large feet ensure they only last a few months.
No mitts, gloves if its less than 5c or 7c and raining.
I have some very ocd rules about what go wear and when."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

For example here (Omloop Cyclo), you can tell that it was below 7c (legwarmers and gilet) and wet (gilet is my windstopper one and cap under helmet, screw you Holm!)

Very nice phreak. Would be happy to see you out on a BR ride in Kent sometime! Unless my memory fails me, you and I have done many rides together already, many years ago mind, when I used to ride for DP, and we went toe to toe up the climbs.Contador is the Greatest0 -
DG, good physique still then. Mismatched bottles though! The photo I remeber of you was climbing up a steep hill in predominantly white kit I think, and from a training website I also think.Contador is the Greatest0

...
For me, helmets should be a light colour and matching, so if in doubt, white ( to match your shoes & socks :P)
Black helmets - no.
What!! No dark helmets allowed..
What do all the stealth bike riding folks do? All that money on a super stealth paint job with matching stealth kit.0 -

Harknott pass from my old blog I think. Photo from 2007 I think. It was on the Fred Whitton when I was on an absolute stinker anyway."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Aye, I'm sure we did, may even have done the DP Hill Climb together many years ago. Am always up for a ride out that way sometimes. Am usually out most weekends.0 -
In the interests of transparency, some self-disclosure:
I don't ride, other than for transport or a potter, have no cycling kit whatsoever.
While you may think this means I have no right to comment, I personally believe this positions me perfectly as an independent, impartial and objective adjudicator of all cycling style disputes.
There is a terrible culture of suspicion in cycling, born of its murky past. The crimes of Cippo aren't easily forgotten. And while all the riders are saying "I'd never go out in a singlet, or wear leg-warmers without arm-warmers" the reluctance to release data means we have every right to harbour suspicion. I call on all BR riders to release data regarding their cycling style, so we can have true transparency.
Based on estimations of Style/KG from surveys of the BR Pro Race forum, there are clearly still major issues with the sport. A linguistic analysis shows that there are still posters that are close to matching the style of past riders known to have been under the influence of drugs when picking their wardrobes and bar tape.Warning No formatter is installed for the format0 -
Lol at that last comment! Btw iain doesnt ride either (although he did in the past) and his opinions are amoung the best.
The style barrier for pros is much mich higher than for mere mortals it has to be said.Contador is the Greatest0 -

I've been known to sport a bandana but have drawn the line at wearing mock denim kit.0 -
Well since we're all at it.
Me a couple of years ago, before I managed to find jerseys that fit me...
(In autumn I might add)

I have a wholly rational hatred of anything made by endura. Nice shoes though"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"
@gietvangent0 -
It's high time an entire thread failed an endo testo test....a rare 100% loyal Pro Race poster. A poster boy for the community.0

Fear not. I have replaced them with some black 3/4 rapha-condor shorts I bought off a pro at the end of the season .
Can't buy that shit from Rapha!0 -
My summer kit(s) is much better but I'm lacking photos of them.
Will try my best to get someone to snap me in 'em.0 -

I think I must fail miserably according to Mr Holm (and most people on here  ).... black shoes and ankle socks I'm afraid... but I just feel comfortable with ankle socks so "yah, boo, sucks"“You may think that; I couldn’t possibly comment!”

I don't ride either except pottering and transport. I potter with the kids, and I ride several miles every day in between cat's houses. I used to commute into Central London regularly but now 99% of my riding is on my MTB.
Typically wearing jesus creepers and no socks.0 -
Go on then, I'll play. At least then I can remind Frenchie how terrible his socks are...
And to keep it genial, here's one of me doing a Jensie with my legwarmers tucked in...

Ok then, as it's silly season...you can't beat a certificate photo immediately after a sportive.
Red, white and black Giordana to match the wheels on my best bike (difficult to compliment the titanium frame without wearing a suit of armour). Just the grey/silver shoes missing. Got to be black socks!
