I got this cheap off ebay a while back for road and light trail use knowing it would need some tlc and just recently made the effort to get it on the road again .
So this is it when i got it ,

That split was in the rear wheel and the front was that bad it was grooved way to thin for safe use .

So here's some picks of it now ,

Thanks for the compliments mate as i've found it's quite light and very responsive and although i don't plan on using it as a pub bike it will come in handy for the odd small shoping trip after i've changed a few parts for none quick release .

Another pic of the other side of the bike showing the shimano crankset which has been altered to the use of the main 42 toothed chain ring ..

It's been a while since i did an update and i've now decided to have a bit of a revamp starting with bars n stem ,
Well the standard size Kore bars needed a shim to fit my OS Crank Bro's Iodine 1 ahead stem so i set about the original riser bars for the Rockrider 5.2 with a saw and a file and this was the result ,,

So anyway the wheels will be staying but the rear mech and crankset will be replaced with old but decent parts which i've got hidden in the shed so will route them out later on ..
