Live on EuroSport, ITV starts shortly. Movistar doing a turn up front for the peloton. Good to see Alex Dowsett after he sounded so low after the TTT on Sunday.
Lead group (Fedrigo and van Bilsen) have a 14min lead with 86km to go.0 -

Pierre-St Martin maybe an unassailable clubhouse leader on Tour's mountain beauty contest. Drop dead gorgeous.Contador is the Greatest0 -
I think Froome learnt from 2013 that when you're feeling good you have to take as much advantage as possible because you never know when you're going to have a bad day. So assuming he is feeling as good as it looks then he'll attack today and definitely try to win the stage.0

Barguil down and probably out. The disastrous tour for the French continues.Team My Man 2018: David gaudu, Pierre Latour, Romain Bardet, Thibaut pinot, Alexandre Geniez, Florian Senechal, Warren Barguil, Benoit Cosnefroy0

What a disaster. His first Tour. He looks in a bad way. Was really hoping he can add some excitement.Contador is the Greatest0 -
Peloton was going through the feed zone at the time. Maybe a tangle. Hope he is able to continue and recover soon.

He has 6' 45 on the peloton who, in the words of the commentator on pro cycling manager "just don't seem to want to react!!!!"
Long day in the saddle.
Constant pressure on the pedals for the flat stuff (no descent to recover on), and then an HC finish.
I'm going to stick my neck out and say that Pierrick won't win the stage today
Fedrigo was a class act, 4 tdf stage wins and a french road race champ... Sadly not any more. always remember that time he outsprinted that american bloke... can't remember his name...0 -

Feedzones are dangerous (didn't they take Cancellara out of a classic as well). Let's ban them...0 -
Barguil not showing on Dimension Data anymore - hopefully a glitch or due to the fact that he is amongst the cars0

Yeh, I remember when I first started watching the Tour around 2007 he was a strong rider.0 -
His breakaway with Pellizotti was super. I was there in person.

My interest was piqued when I spotted a guy in a "Dimension Data" hi-vis vest while on my lunchtime stroll. A colleague informs me it's the firm we use to run networking cable when we need it - boring!0

He is back up and riding - presume he swapped bikes and thus lost the tracker unit0 -

I'm very used to seeing them within the South African context so have been rather confused to have them associated with the Tour!0 -
Barguil back on. Hope it doesn't have too much of an effect on him.0

Definitely no sign of a gps tracker on his bike (although he still has his race number fitted)0 -

They're in talks to take over as title sponsor at MTM next year."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Ticker saying that Tom Leezer (Lotto Jumbo) has crashed.
Leaders are on their way to the intermediate sprint & still have 12mins on the rest. Still up to 15 points up for grabs in the points race, so we might get a bit more effort than usual from the usual suspects before they head for the autobus.0 -
FDJ sharing the peloton duties, so Pinot might be on for a Bastille Day attack later.
50km to go and around 10mins for the two leaders.0 -
Jrod has already won the stage.
On to tommorrow..0 -
I've been waiting for this moment since 2011 when Lord first transformed Chris Froome in Peña Cabarga. It's only taken 4 years.
