The new Dune is available in blue/yellow.
Yep its a Dune XR frame I'm waiting for. Been told I might not see it until September now though
XR frames and full and full bikes are being held up with production for the Fox shock, the dune R and RR which use a monarch of float X should be here by the end of July
Well I suppose you have something half decent to ride in the meantime!Cube Analog 2012 with various upgrades.0 -

We've had a few Dune R's leave so far and the first RR went today, surprisingly the dune R carbon was lighter than my stock Foxy SE too! the dunes look great though, the attention to detail is exceptional.0

I've managed to wangle a frame without a shock as I'm bored of waiting for it! Want to get it and get some miles in on it as in October me and my mates are off to Finale Ligure and I don't fancy going on a bike I don't know very well. If it was not so different to anything I have had before I'd just have waited but it may take a while for myself and it to click so to speak!0 -
It can take a little while to adjust but well worth the time.
Don't be afraid to set a little extra sag on the rear, Drakers are designed to run with about 30% sag nominally0 -

Looking good, not sure I'm keen on the yellow envy decals though! Wise move with getting used to it, it took me a little while to get mine dialled in and to get used to how you have to ride them. Certainly not the kind of bike for the plodders of the world!0

Looks immense and a bit of a departure from the Nomad. Funny what you get used to now as it doesn't look so stretched out to me as when they were first released.
All thats left is to get used to riding it!Bird Aeris : Trek Remedy 9.9 29er : Trek Procaliber 9.8 SL0 -
Superb looking bike. Not a big fan of the yellow ENVE decals, but otherwise very nice. Does anyone else derive large pleasure from seeing the two halves of the chain so close to parallel....
That cutout at the headtube/downtube/toptube join looks so good, would love one myself.Current fleet

It looks really small as well! Is it a medium frame? Looks tiny compared to my large Foxy0

Thanks everyone.
Looks small in the photos as the suspension is compressed slightly by the shock spacer. Hopefully that will all be sorted tomorrow and I will have her ready for the first ride on Wednesday.0 -
orange looks lovely
sorry, bored in work

What stem are you running on there?
I was just looking at the geometry vs the Bronson and I got to say I dont get the geometry. Looks nice though!Closet jockey wheel pimp whore.0 -

Its a 30mm Mondraker Onoff stem.
The geometry is pretty radical compared to your average bike from almost all bike companies. You are seeing a move towards it though, Canyon made the Strive Race, Transition with the Scout and Patrol and even SC are making longer bikes with the Nomad (although its only a halfway house at the minute). They are all still pretty far off a Mondraker or a Nicolai though.0 -

It works though. Having ridden a Bronson it was good, but both my Foxy or a Dune would run rings around it. There is a trade off, they aren't the easiest bikes to manual for example and on super tight trails they need a bit more muscling, but by and large I think the Mondrakers out ride pretty much anything else on the market by a good margin. Don't get me wrong I love Santa Cruz bikes and was all set on a 5010, but having ridden the Foxy I made the right move. Breath takingly good bikes.0 -
