End of the drought for Sagan?
from the official website,, to satisfy goat, taken too much EPO again;
This was supposed to be Orica-GreenEdge's stage with a finale absolutely suitable for the characteristics of Simon Gerrans, Daryl Impey and Michael Matthews. The latter is still in the race but he's creeping, dead last in the overall ranking. His courage has been awarded in stage 5 by the price of the most aggressive rider. He's injured but keeps racing as long as he can, waiting and hoping for better days. Gerrans and Impey also crashed on stage 3.
Gutted yesterday my crappy digital box thing (which is French) didn't record. Twice now. It came on looked like it recorded and when I sat down right at the end of a very long day just for my hour... horror its not there
This looks west to east but they go east to west.
yesterday, I missed

Did you just copy and paste somebody elses blurb run through google translate?"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Sorry, I'm being picky. Why not credit the official website rather than a bike hire company then? We make Frenchie do it for his photos, afterall."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Are we looking at another bunch finish? Any issue of crosswinds along the coast?0

Supposed to have quote song wins all day, combined with the hilliness it could easily get a bit lively gc-wise apparently.0

The Wind Cries Mary would be my bet."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

It doesn't actually go over the Pont De Normandie though does it?
Looks like a totally non sprinters friendly finish, 850m at 7% before a little bit of level before the line.0 -

Didn't you see Cav at the Nationals? He weighs the same as a bag of sugar and can climb like a rat up a drain pipe! Today is Cav's day - Victory!*

You are both wrong. It's really not hard to work out - quite obvious actually. But leave me in peace please; I'm just here to comment on the TdF then I shall be on my way again.0

I know Abbeville quite well. It is the host town for the annual Ronde Picarde sportive I do every year. I hope Jumbo got allocated the Mercure hotel otherwise its the Ibis Budget (aka Etap, my accommodation of choice), 3 to a room with en-suite, or the Formula 1, 3 to a room, toilet in corridor.Half man, Half bike0

The finish climb has a 14% section in it, not one for the pure sprinters I think. Although, if the bunch hits the climb at full speed, 14% aint that bad... . And the final half km is flat. Difficult one to call. Even the GC guys may want to gain some seconds with a split in the bunch. Likely to be a disorganised sprint0

Don't get me started on national champs jerseys...
Too late.
Either wear the proper jersey, or don't go for the title.
Harumph. It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.0 -

the proper jersey
Please define... I'm never sure what this is. Is is just stripes (e.g. Kennaugh's) on a neutral background, the full tricolor (e.g. Belgium), or a mishmash (e.g. USA or Slovakia)?0 -

I'm not sure EBH designed it himself..."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"
