Oh wonderful, the guy literally cut the stream 5m before the finish line. Whoever won it was a very strong win on the messy uphill 5% scramble.

Appropriate starting location for Medical Marvel Alberto Contador
He said today that he hasn't yet made the final decision on his injury for the Tour. He'll make an announcement after a staged crash at the nationals but broken neck is very much the favourite. The neck brace is thought to both visualy impressive and a subtle dig at Froome's riding style.

To be fair to the guy, trauma injury was the only way to go after Froome had first dibs on all the diseases.

Contador puts in a dig 7.8km from the penultimate summit and drops everyone apart from Quintana. 21 year Pierre Roger Latour grinds back to them, has a wee rest and goes over the top.

Are we allowed to transfer riders into Team My Man mid-season?
Team My Man 2018: David gaudu, Pierre Latour, Romain Bardet, Thibaut pinot, Alexandre Geniez, Florian Senechal, Warren Barguil, Benoit Cosnefroy

Nairo knows that Alberto knows that Nairo knows it's in Alberto's interests to do nothing to distract Nairo's attention from the Froometador battle which Alberto knows Nairo knows is Nairo's best chance of winning the Tour. Fascinating.

Your men? Sorry to be dense and I don't often post, but I'm not sure what this means? Have you some connection with the riders?

Was a very enjoyable last 16km which was all we got from Eurosport - i.e. the descent where Quintana had Contador in his sights the whole way down but couldn't close the gap.

Shame we couldn't see the final climb up to see how the split came. As Frenchie would say, a 'heavyweight' stage.

    Enjoyed the camera work too.

I see that Contador persisted with his pistol celebration while the global news media is dominated by a killing spree with a pistol. He may be a talented cyclist, but as a man he's a f***ing moron.

That's poor considering Dutch, German and French Eurosport had it live from 48kms out.
All that happened was Tinkoff led into the climb, Contador made a couple of short accelerations which Quintana followed with ease.
    The rest didn't.
The odd man out was Latour who was allowed to go up the road for a bit.

Very timid stuff from the big two. The local shops were completely sold out of panache.

I imagine Dutch, German and French Eurosport aren't engrossed with a 2nd rate tennis tournament!

On Eurosport Player (£3.99/Mth) they have extra feeds without any commentary. Yesterday afternoon the Suisse and Sud were both on live and very enjoyable. In fact, I think without the commentary you seem to get more atmosphere from the race, plenty of shouting and other noise coming through. Best £3.99 /Mth I spend, but I do have the time to watch all the races.

Seemed as though Contador tried a couple of times to drop Quintana, but didn't , and attacked over the top .
