Knee pain with new shoes

Hi,
Im doing around 15-20 hours of training per wheel and have recently got some new cycling shoes. They are exactly the same model and size as before (Specialized expert road) however i went on a 140k ride last Sunday and since everyday this week i have had pain on the front of my right knee while cycling.
I assume this is down to cleat position? What am i doing wrong. The cleats seemly fairly neutral and very similar to old shoes.
Any help would be great as knee pain is causing me to be less effective during training.
Cheers

IME the slightest difference in cleat position or worn cleats can cause knee pain, it's worth the effort to get them bang on.0

...and see what matches
if the ride was long/hard vs. your regular practice then i'd be wary of assuming it's just one thing such as cleat positionmy bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0
