But they are. Mike Coty has said he's seen the same thing in the tunnel.
Makes sense - not only do you have a larger CdA, but no doubt the Cd itself is worse because the air moving past the tyre becomes turbulent (the flow detaches from the tyre and is no longer laminar as it struggles to 'reattach' to something) and eddies around the rim.
If the rim width is matched to the tyre width, this is no longer a problem0 -

I agree with it, its just the testing criteria was for rolling resistance, puncture resistance and wet grip and then they throw in a statement about aerodynamics.I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0
