Just received this and v pleased with it - looks great on. And I used to go to Herne Hill a lot for rides with Dulwich Paragon, so got the connection too...

Mine was a simple personal opinion, I also promoted and spoke highly of Rapha (also British). I don't like TOrm simply because they are obvious copycats, never went into discussing their overall quality.
I think there's room in that design aesthetic - or whatever you want to call it - for more than one brand.
If Rapha want to price their gear at such ridiculous heights then they shouldn't be surprised if someone comes along and does something similar but cheaper (and the quality is v good).
Possibly, I guess I just like different, but each to their own. I'm not a huge Rapha fan and don't buy their gear but I do admire what they have done and their quality (unfortunately can't afford many of their items). Just like everything in this world, you aren't buying just the item, you buy the name, the branding, the story behind it and the quality. You can buy a Ralph Lauren wallet and pay 5 times as much as a no brand one of the same quality. When you wear Rapha item you feel like wiggins or close to it Do other brands carry the same effect?? ... possibly not.
There are many different brands on the market very similar in style to rapha, they look good and are well made but Torm to me seems just like a fake rapha, again, each to their own.
I think they all get their inspirations from many sources and have all learned off each other in some ways in terms of manufacturing quality, design and cut...I know other companies have bought my jerseys and used them as the basis of their own offering. I believe this is a good thing for the customer as it means that everyone is striving to improve the quality of their products. It's the same with bikes...even though 'most' bikes are made in the same factory (http://inrng.com/2012/02/who-made-your-bike/) there is always emotion attached brands, their origins and their qualities.
Bottom line for me is...everyone is allowed to have an opinion and spend their hard earned cash on whatever they feel passionate about!0 -

Waiting to get this when back in stock; pretty sure it's not going to be to many peoples taste..

I like some of the Twin Six offerings - two of my favourites:
Another one I can't find a picture of anywhere, but it's basically got a wide stripe down the front in the Martini colours - I had to search long and hard for it, and finally found a retailer in Indonesia who has one in stock!Felt F70 05 (Turbo)

Absolutely LOVE IT, like a proper 90s fluro tw*t. My other half doesn't get my love for this either but appreciates the high vis!
Now something for the ladies that doesn't incorporate flowers!

Mmmm nice!
Yeah 80s-90s stuff: don't really understand the Mapei fixation, or 'Z'.
Surely Z was the aesthetic inspiration for Foska?0 -
Any of the jerseys that are 'classics' I tend to like..
e.g. Nalini

Having said I don't really like pro-team kit, I could do either of these retro ones from Prendas if necessary:
Anyone got any good long-sleevers for the coming months?0 -
The jersey is aesthetically pleasing. Not sure about the model.
