Cool (as in aesthetically pleasing) jerseys?

Right I'm fed up of my meagre selection of cycling jerseys.
I have a couple of old club tops that I feel a bit of a fraud in cos I'm not a member of either any more.
I have a random one with Davos / Klosters regalia that some bloke from the Swiss tourist board gave me.
I have a GPM10 / Fundsmith Alpine training camp one which I really like but has just lost its zip.
And then it's a crappy old Endura / Altura half-zip which is the first jersey I ever bought and looks cheap.
I really struggle with most of the cheaper ones you see in the shops - they just don't look very ... sharp?
I'm not a huge fan of Castelli branding / design.
Rapha yes, I'd like the pro-team L-S jersey but I'll wait for a sale.
I don't wear pro-team replica kit, or retro team tops - though have less of a problem with the latter.
Any ideas (thinking mainly short-sleeve for the moment)?

mmm thanks just had a look - yeah I get it, very Rapha.
Suppose I was thinking of something a bit more 'pro' looking (without being replica kit).
Not easy I know.0 -

I would second Torm, really nice stuff, however if you are looking for a pro fit style jersey then what about the Bodyline Range from Stolen Goat. Something like this:

So I love the Herne Hill Velodrome white jersey there at Milltag - but no Mediums left.
Like one of the Morvelos and a couple of the Torm designs, which will probably get.
Any more for any more?0 -
These look a bit different and apparently the matching shorts are very well thought of on the forum

Just bought the Cervelo Aero Race kit.. I know you said you don't like the Castelli branding though or Team replica stuff.

If you bought it, it would be the "Dog's"Still thinking of something clever to say!0 -
Great thread. Cycling clothing market is so crowded now that it is hard to pick!
Not sure why anyone would buy TORM, such a bad copy of Rapha. It is like buying a fake Gucci bag. Looks the same, but it isn't the real deal.
Rapha quality and style is a guarantee but it comes at a price.
Many many new brands out there, most very similar, some very loud in graphic, personally simple style never goes out of fashion and always looks good. Cafeducycliste, Volero, Jaggad look good and are doing well.
I also discovered Belgian Boys Club, awesome little new brand.

First post slagging off a quality British brand, promoting unknown brand. They look such a bargain as well.0

Mine was a simple personal opinion, I also promoted and spoke highly of Rapha (also British). I don't like TOrm simply because they are obvious copycats, never went into discussing their overall quality.0 -

I think there's room in that design aesthetic - or whatever you want to call it - for more than one brand.
If Rapha want to price their gear at such ridiculous heights then they shouldn't be surprised if someone comes along and does something similar but cheaper (and the quality is v good).0 -
Would love to be rich enough for the Belgian Boys Club one
Am a fan of this one too...

Possibly, I guess I just like different, but each to their own. I'm not a huge Rapha fan and don't buy their gear but I do admire what they have done and their quality (unfortunately can't afford many of their items). Just like everything in this world, you aren't buying just the item, you buy the name, the branding, the story behind it and the quality. You can buy a Ralph Lauren wallet and pay 5 times as much as a no brand one of the same quality. When you wear Rapha item you feel like wiggins or close to it Do other brands carry the same effect?? ... possibly not.
There are many different brands on the market very similar in style to rapha, they look good and are well made but Torm to me seems just like a fake rapha, again, each to their own.0 -
Waiting to get this when back in stock; pretty sure it's not going to be to many peoples taste..
