Lost garmin file recovery ? Software ?

Anyone know of any apps or programmes suitable for a mac to allow me to search for lost data files on my garmin 500 ?

First time today it was recording fine, i followed the correct procedure to reset it but this time it did not save

Really really want the data back.

This link says it could be possible but software wont work for MAC

try easus Data Recovery for Mac. My mrs uses it on solid state drives which mount in the same way and its pretty good at getting everything back.

The problem though is there is no easy way of repairing a corrupt FIT file. but you may be able to convert it to a course.

I've lost loads of big events like this (garmin 800) - bloody annoying to think your pretty close to PB on a 10 hour ride only to get a corrupt file.

Interesting, thanks for the link. Occasionally I get a file not saved at all, sometimes the file name is normal but there seems to be no content.
