Recovering from neck of femur fracture / hip replacement

Afternoon all,

Back in mid January I took a tumble on the ice and suffered a neck of the femur fracture.

I've since had the all clear from the consultant to weight bear following my 6 week x ray and have been attending physio every week since week 2 of my recovery.

It's now getting to the stage where my movement is all back and I'm building my strength and muscles back up and am wondering if any others have suffered a similar injury, perhaps hip replacement as the recovery is similar (and a possibility for me if this doesn't heal properly) and how you used a turbo / spin bike to get yourself back into riding?

Obviously I'll be working with my physio to get the plan in place but it's nice to here people's experiences.

Thanks.

Lots people on here have had similar, including me.

There is even a massive thread on the subject somewhere.

Heal up, you'll be back in no time.
