Warming again to Paolini. Lovely move that. Those leg warmers are not acceptable though.

The wind is making them go so slow its crazy.

I go to the shop for 10 minutes...

Would it normally have only taking you 5 without the crosswinds?

It looks over and out for the peloton. Still losing time. The strongest riders at the front.

Peleton might as well all climb off.

Roelandts going to hang on here? No much commitment among the chasers. Really hope Etixx don't get the win. They must be torn, wanting to get Lotto back but not wanting to do any work. No doubt Lefevre will have a whinge that the others didn't chase hard enough!

They're still not making much impact on the gap to Roelandts.
  • peloton might as well all climb off.

Oleg would have him shot at dawn. He's not paying for quitting

It feels like they're expecting the conditions to catch up with him, rather than chasing as hard as possible. G's crash also seemed to spook them a bit.

Roelandts slogging his way up the Kemmelberg, looking a bit better than Tjallingi did last time. Chase group about to start the climb.

Roelandts did not look happy going up the Kemmelberg then.

    Not many spectators.

Do not feel any emotion for J R normally but this ride is pretty bloody amazing so far.

    Attacked at 76km.

Sep coming back to them with Vandenbergh in tow.
