    IAM Cycling confirms that they had two riders in the serious looking pile-up near the start. One of them could be seen in what looked like a serious condition, possibly having hit his head in the incident. Pineau and Aregger were the two involved, although it's not clear which of the two was on the ground.

    More news on the IAM Cycling duo. Jerome Pinaeu is safely in the peloton but Marcel Aregger has been taken to hospital. We'll bring you more news as we find out.

    Marcel Aregger, the IAM rider who crashed and was lying face down, is at the hospital. But he is conscious, Sporza reports #DDV

    Well not sure about this time gap....saying it is 47secs now with 41ks. They are all on the hoods, sitting upright and dont look like they are drilling it by any means.

    They are looking pretty cooked actually - very short turns and not coming through quickly.

    It's currently showing the gap to "G3" (now over a minute) rather than "G2"...

    Now it's back to showing the gap to "G2" instead of "G3"... I agree it doesn't look like they're riding particularly hard.
