The Lightness aren't waterproof, but they do well in wind
Clearly you need to keep both2020 Reilly Spectre - raw titanium
2020 Merida Reacto Disc Ltd - black on black
2015 CAAD8 105 - very green - stripped to turbo bike
2018 Planet X Exocet 2 - grey
The departed:
2017 Cervelo R3 DI2 - sold
Boardman CX Team - sold
Cannondale Synapse - broken
Cube Streamer - stolen
Boardman Road Comp - stolen0 -
the one thing i do know, is i dont need both!
i might go with the nano ones as they are closer in material/style to the gore that i also have and also know exactly how those gore gloves performBMC TM01 - FCN 0

I've been wearing the Nanos for commuting since October. Only swapped them for full winter gloves on a few days. Also use them for early morning spring/summer rides as they can always be taken off and pocketed. Great gloves. Not waterpoof but will keep the rain out for a bit and keep the hands warm.- 2023 Vielo V+1

All I would say is that, right now, it might be better to start out with the lightness and suffer for a few moments rather than start out warm with the nano and have to pocket them mid ride. The lightness seem to have a really good range. I'm really rather taken with them!My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Got the Nano XT through today.
They look ok - similar weight to the LG Course Attack I miss so much, but lacking palm protection.
The LG gloves had a couple of leathery pad like mitts do - shame these don't...0 -
that is the only downside to both of the pairs of castelli. neither have any padding on the hand at all.BMC TM01 - FCN 0

I'm thinking of getting relatives in Canada to send me a couple of pairs of the LG gloves...0

Why is it that most manufacturers seem to not put any padding on their long fingered gloves, when every single pair of mitts has them - I find it bizarre.
Mavic Eclipse gloves are my glove of choice for when it is slightly too cold for mitts, and for colder and or wet weather I either use Altura Night Vision with or without liners, or some Giordana Nordic gloves that are lush - ALL have palm padding!

My Pearl Izumi (Hello Kitty) gloves have some of the best padding. Funnily enough, they drew lots of admiring comments on yesterday's Rapha ride (which was wet and cold)ROAD < Scott Foil HMX Di2, Volagi Liscio Di2, Jamis Renegade Elite Di2, Cube Reaction Race > ROUGH0

And I would add, an oddly small / restrictive cuff: I have trouble getting hands in and out, with what feels like a risk of tearing stitching, even though fingerwise they are if anything slightly too big. But that could be my spade-like hands.0 -

To reopen glovegate, they bloody smell as well, after like one or two rides.
Have managed to source a couple of pairs of the LG Course Attack gloves, which has pleased me more than it should.0 -
I had to revert to cooler weather gloves this morning. My mildly mullered hand doesn't like the cold at all. Got a pair of Sportful gloves with windstopper and a slightly fleecy inside to them. Lovely, comfy and warm, but will revert to mitts for the ride home I should think.0

This weather certainly makes rear pockets useful; mitts in them on the way in, gloves* & t shirt on the way back.

Get some of the defeet ones then, I lost a pair on a day trip to Aberystwyth with the family, ordered a new pair as soon as I realised they were gone. Best gloves I've ever had, despite they're only a tight knit woolly glove.
I wear them pretty much every day, only swapped to full winters in the pouring rain or sub zero days.Saracen Tenet 3 - 2015 - Dead - Replaced with a Hack Frame
