Garmin 810 training plans

Evening all,
I am aiming for a season of purposeful training in order to improve fitness levels and reduce weight. The goal is to be cracking 100 miles by the end of the season and set myself up for a great off season and move into my 50thbyear with a larger goal to aim for .
My starting point is the adoption of some purposeful training and I have sourced an 810 unit in order to be able to measure and monitor progress through the season. Any one have either any training plans for their unit or indeed direct me to a resource where I can access some additional plans for checking through

Can you clarify what you mean by 'training plan' ?0

If I look at Garmin Connect there is a single plan that takes you to 100 miles over 8 weeks but that's the only plan I can find. Things like interval plans and that type of thing...
I appreciate that there is the facility to create your own plans etc and If there isn't anything available I would say that it's probably a case of finding written plans and converting them across to Garmin++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I'm after exactly the same thing for the same purpose. Garmin connect says "training plans coming soon". If you find anything let me know.

I'm on a similar journey and a great link into garmin connect is myfitnesspal which records your calorie intake and your calorie burn from your Garmin is then sent to myfitnesspal which provides a great overview.
There are numerous plans out there on the web and its how much info you want to use? Others employ heart rate monitors and power metres while I'm happy with the calorie count and average speed on a set ride and a view from Garmin connect to see how my performance increases over the season.
