asymmetrical soreness

I have some soreness that starts from the left hip and then moved to the thigh, sometimes this happens to the the left leg, sometimes the right, it's always on one leg only. Is it muscle imbalance, or some other thing I'm not aware of? It doesn't hurt when I'm riding, it feels like regular DOMS. But it keeps moving around! :|

Tight IT band maybe? Have you tried stretching and rollering?

I get loads of muscle pains and really need to see a physio but in the mean time take Ibuprofen.

If you want to be a strong rider you have to do strong things.
However if you train like a cart horse you'll race like one.
