    As far as I recall, and without Googling, it used to be two one days races and then about 5 or 6 years ago they made it a stage race

    Ruta de Sol etc are proper races.

    it is true it's punching above it's weight to some degree but easy to say now there is the middle east and Australia - 38 editions to date - it's possible Paris Nice could becomes second tier one day and I feel is already to some degree.

    Just a nice little 2 dayer and I like it
