Gorgeous and great value too. The sweet spot of the whole Canyon range in my opinion.
  • FFS! Wow! I hope you're as hard in real life as that bike looks?!

One of the best looking bikes around at the moment in my opinion. Not a massive fan of the colour scheme, but it stil looks great.

    Lovely bike

( you could use a black Recon cassette and KMC x11sl dlc black chain to make it all black)

I want a PowerMeter but certainly not a PowerTap. Waiting to see if the 4iiii or Zone DPMX options are any good. Would prefer zone as it's cleat based. I have 3 bikes I'd like to use power on. 2 are Campag and 1 is Shimano. So a shoe/cleat system would be idea.

Likewise, i'm keeping an eye on the Zone system. I've been on their "waiting list" for the last year or two but haven't decided yet whether I'll take them when they're released. Power monitoring is expensive and probably not worth it for me......but it could be fun and interesting to play with!

Also on the waiting list. Not sure I want to spend my money on a product that requires me to use Sugru though.

Hmmm, The sugru seems like a good engineering solution to me. I don't see why it's a negative?

It just seems a little too 'Garden Shed' engineering to me. Not a very elegant solution. I'm sure they will refine, but I'm wary of being a 1st Gen Guinea Pig.

  • Nice overall but way too black. Are we back on WWs circa 2005/6?

  • Have you installed the Fabric Alm Saddle yet? The rails are not fully round so it does not seem to sit flush within the seat clamp! Trying to figure out if this is a good idea or not!

Very nice! What size is that?

Yes the ALM is in place. It was a real game trying to fit it but I'm happy that enough of the area is clamped. Did 65 miles on it at the weekend with no issues but it will need keeping an eye on.

Did you struggle to adjust the angle by the way?

When I first joined this forum people often said Canyon bikes, while obvious in quality (give or take a few frame issues!) were in essence dull. I think someone even said that about my CF Ultimate but imo Canyon now make some of the best looking bikes, this being a prime example.
