Knee Pain Rear, Opinions..

Hi,

I have developed a killer pain at the back of my left knee on the inside where the leg bends. Feels like the tendon is sore, it comes on after about 20k and the next day I cant even drive its so bad. No pain resting.

I recently had a bike fit and the fitter moved my cleat in to push my leg out. I can't go back to him because he's in another country.

Could this be it?

Opinions? I'd like to try a few things out before I find a physio with cycling / fitting experience.

Thks,

C.

If that is the only thing that changed then its quite likely the cleat.

last weekend i was messing with my cleats and moved them so as to move my feet away from the cranks. within very few miles i was in pain and then had to stop a few times to adjust back to where they were. i had also changed the toe in aswell.
My winter bike is exactly the same as my summer bike,,, but dirty...

was saddle raised? I ask because if saddle is too high then rear knee pain can result. Happened to me but it was the outer part of the knee.
