    What we have to do is recognise our small actions on others can have major consequences as things can escalate quickly and irrationally. In my book if an accident or attack could be avoided then you need recognise you played a part in the outcome. I'm not saying I'm an angel, just trying to explain how/why things happen and show what causes them.

    There are more people that act like dicks in London because there are more people. The ratio of dicks is about the same as the rest of the country. This seems to be something you inbred yokels keep forgetting with your sweeping generalisations. :roll:

    And not all the dicks in London happen to be Londoners, some of them are dicks from the sticks who come to work/live in London and just carry on being dicks. I hope that's cleared that up.

    I think the other important issue is his choice of Shimano. When he (appears to) brake check, you can see the top of the lever move. If he'd been running SRAM or Campag it would not have looked quite so obvious ;)

    Rubino Pros would have saved him from the kick, I know this because I'm told they have less grip than a wet fish and the front would have washed out as soon as he touched the brake.

    maybe wearing a helmet had given him an unrealistic expectation of personal safety? it seems pertinent that the cap wearing BMX scrote remained upright and unscathed.

    it could be their choice of head wear which determined this or the fact that the BMX rider was kicking and the roadie was being kicked?
