Cheers, just dont tell the wife how much it really cost!

Went out for a little 6 mile blast earlier to check indexing and it is much quieter now.

As i said above probably due to the old chain being a bit dry.

Got the morgan blue chain cleaner and road race oil today.
Although the oil says summer use, i bought it online as it had a pic if rain and sun on the can...
I guess ill just have to do it more regular!
My winter bike is exactly the same as my summer bike,,, but dirty...

Time to put that thing in mothballs (sorry, cotton wool) and bring out the winter bike. That's easier said than done though.

I didn't buy it to look at (although it is rather nice imo) I bought it to use it.

I do have the option of a MTB however..

Sell the MTB and buy some mudguards and lights.

Its got lights on it, but no guards. I have just under 4mm clearence between rear tyre and brake bridge so cant find any that are a direct fit. I could modify some easily enough if needed i guess.

Either way i wont need to sell the mtb for some!!
